Tasks
FreeTurn launch and growth work into small jobs you can actually finish.
What It Is
Tasks turns launch, marketing, and maintenance work into a practical schedule. It groups work into Today, Overdue, Upcoming, and Completed so the next move is visible.
How To Use It
- Start with Today. Each row explains what done looks like and why the task matters.
- Use the row action button to open the matching Kickstart tool, such as Marketing, Website, TestFlight, or another editor.
- When a task asks for a response, complete it by writing the answer. Kickstart saves that thinking to Journal.
- Use search when you remember the outcome, not the exact title. It searches task names and done descriptions.
Managing The Plan
- When you import an existing App Store Connect app, Kickstart starts with a task list focused on growth work for an existing app.
- Move a task to today when it becomes the real next action.
- Push work back 1, 3, or 7 days from today when your plan changes.
- Choose how many days of upcoming tasks you want to see. The default is 7 days.
- Delete tasks that no longer matter. A clean list is more useful than an impressive pile.
- Use completed tasks as a record of progress before a release or retrospective.
Practical Tips
- Keep task titles short and outcome-focused.
- Add enough detail that you can restart the work without remembering the whole context.
- If a task feels too large, split it into the first visible action and the follow-up.
