Competitors
ProTrack apps in your space so your pricing, keywords, and positioning stay honest.
What It Is
Competitors tracks App Store apps in your space and compares pricing, ratings, update cadence, keywords, screenshots, privacy labels, reviews, and search rankings across the iPhone, iPad, and Mac App Stores.
Adding Competitors
- Click Add Competitor, search the App Store, choose a platform and country, then add apps buyers would realistically compare with yours.
- Track iPhone, iPad, and Mac App Store competitors separately when the same market behaves differently on each platform. Search ranks and nearby competitors can vary.
- Use suggested competitors as a starting point when your project is linked to App Store Connect.
- Keep the list focused. Five to ten serious competitors usually beats a giant noisy list.
Good Workflows
- Open Comparison Table to compare price, rating, reviews, update freshness, category, platforms, languages, screenshots, size, and App Store links.
- Open Pricing Analysis before changing your price or subscription structure.
- Open Keyword Analysis to see terms detected from titles, subtitles, and screenshot text.
- Use Search Rankings to check where competitors rank for a keyword, then track the keyword if it matters.
- Use Privacy Analysis to compare the trust story your app tells against similar products.
- Use Screenshots to spot common layouts, promises, and gaps without bouncing around the App Store.
- Use Reviews to fetch competitor reviews, filter by rating, country, or app, and look for repeated complaints.
Best Use
The goal isn't to copy other apps. Use competitor data to understand the market, choose a sharper position, and find problems users are already asking someone to solve.
