Build In Public
Draft specific social posts about what you are building, shipping, or learning.
Share the Work You're Already Doing
Build In Public Post Creator helps turn progress on your app into posts people can follow. You don't need a big launch announcement every time. A decision, a small improvement, or something you learned from a user can make a perfectly good post.
The tool gives you draft wording; you choose what to share and make it sound like the person who actually built the app.
Generate From Your Project
Choose the phase that matches where you are, such as developing the idea, preparing for launch, or working after release. Then use Generate to get suggestions based on that phase and your description in Basic Information.
Look through the results and check the character counts. Pick a draft with a clear point instead of trying to cram every feature into one post.
If the suggestions could describe pretty much any app, add more specific information to Basic Information before trying again.
Use a Journal Entry
Entries from your Journal appear below. Turn Into Post uses one of those entries as the starting point, which is often the easiest way to get a post with something real to say.
For example, a note about simplifying your import screen could become a post showing the before and after, explaining what confused people, and asking whether the new version makes sense.
You don't have to share everything in the original note. Strip out internal details and anything you wouldn't want to publish.
Make It Yours and Share It
Read the draft aloud. Change phrases you wouldn't normally use, check any claims, and add a concrete detail or screenshot where it helps.
Use Copy to take the text elsewhere, or Share to open a posting flow for a supported social service. You still finish off the post there.
A small, specific update usually gives people more to respond to than another announcement that you're "working on something exciting."
