Purchasing Power Parity Calculator
Compare territory prices before changing global price points.
Compare Affordability Across Countries
Purchasing Power Parity helps you look over product prices across markets using a purchasing-power index. A plain currency conversion doesn't tell you how affordable a price feels locally, so this gives you another way to compare the offer.
The suggestions are a starting point for your judgement. They don't know everything about your audience or guarantee that changing a price will improve revenue.
Choose a Product and Index
First select the product you want to work on. Nothing is selected by default, so the page waits for you to pick one before showing its pricing analysis.
Choose the index you want to use for the comparison. Kickstart combines that reference with the product's base price and Apple's available local price points.
You'll need your app linked to App Store Connect and the relevant credentials set up. If the required pricing data hasn't loaded, follow the status message before trying to edit prices.
Read the Comparison
The summary groups territories into prices that fit the selected comparison, prices to consider lowering, prices that could increase, and places without enough data.
Open the territory details to compare current and suggested amounts in the appropriate currency. A missing value means the comparison isn't available; it isn't a recommendation to make the product free.
Pay extra attention to the markets that matter to your app. You may have a good reason to keep a price different from the suggestion, such as a particular audience or product position.
Prepare Changes
Use Edit Prices to adjust the territory prices. The suggested-price action can apply suggestions to the selected territories or the full set, and you can fine-tune individual prices afterward.
Editing here prepares changes. It doesn't update App Store Connect until you choose Publish to App Store Connect and confirm.
For subscription products, check the effective date and any existing upcoming changes. If new prices conflict with scheduled changes, Kickstart explains that it will cancel the conflicting schedules before applying the replacements. Read that summary carefully so you know exactly which plan you're replacing.
Review the Result
After publishing, check the result and any reported failures rather than assuming every territory went through successfully.
Keep a note of the product, markets, and reason for the change in Journal. Then use Revenue Details and Subscriptions to keep an eye on what happens over a useful period.
