Analytics
FreeUse sales, subscriptions, and App Analytics to pick the next useful move.
What It Is
Analytics brings together Revenue Details, Subscriptions, Verified Monthly Revenue, App Analytics, Price Parity, and Move One Number so you can decide what to improve next.
Good Workflows
- Open Revenue Details to fetch sales reports, choose a date range, and inspect revenue over time.
- Use Subscriptions to review active paid subscriptions, trials, renewals, cancellations, and subscription event reports.
- Open Verified Monthly Revenue when you want a clean revenue snapshot for build-in-public posts or your own records.
- Open App Analytics to track installs, downloads, engagement, sessions, crashes, territories, sources, devices, and version crashes.
- Use Price Parity before changing global pricing.
- Use Move One Number when everything looks important and you need one focused next action.
- Use Diagnostics in Revenue Details if sales data looks wrong or Apple rejects a report request.
How To Read It
- If impressions are weak, work on discoverability: keywords, ads, launches, and external traffic.
- If product page views are fine but downloads are weak, work on conversion: icon, subtitle, screenshots, pricing, and reviews.
- If downloads happen but revenue is weak, work on onboarding, pricing, paywall clarity, and retention.
- If crashes rise after a release, stop optimizing the funnel and fix the broken experience.
Indie Habit
Don't stare at dashboards every day. Once a week, write one sentence per metric: up, flat, down, or unclear. Then choose one action.
