Email Pitch
Draft short, specific outreach emails for press and creators.
Write an Email With a Clear Reason
Email Pitch helps you prepare a subject and message for someone who might cover your app or update. It uses your project information and the kind of news you want to share to give you a draft you can personalize.
It doesn't send the message for you. You'll copy the result into your email app and decide when it's ready to go.
Choose Who and Why
Choose a recipient from the available contacts, or pick Other. Then choose what you want to tell them, such as introducing an app or describing an update.
Use the recipient's description as a starting point, then check that your story is relevant to the work they actually cover. A good pitch gives this particular person a reason to care.
Before generating, make sure Basic Information describes the app clearly. If the app's purpose is vague there, the email will probably be vague too.
Generate a Draft
Choose Generate Email to create a subject and body. If you've made a website with a Press Kit section, Kickstart can include its link so the recipient has somewhere to find details and images.
Read the subject line first. It should explain the news clearly enough that someone can decide whether to open the message.
In the body, keep the opening focused on why you're writing. Add enough context to understand the app, then a simple next step, such as trying a feature or watching a short demo.
Personalize and Send
Use Copy to move the draft to your email app. Check names, links, dates, and product claims there, and add a personal detail that explains why you picked the recipient.
Have the press kit ready before you start reaching out. A short email works much better when it links to useful material than when it tries to contain every fact and screenshot itself.
If you're offering access through a code, explain what it unlocks and how to redeem it.
