Search Suggestions
Discover the phrases the App Store suggests and find new keywords to track.
Discover the Phrases People Are Offered
Search Suggestions lets you explore the phrases the App Store is likely to suggest as someone starts typing. These completions are really useful because they often reveal a more specific intention than the first word alone.
Someone typing "workout" might be looking for a gym log, a home routine, or a timer. Those are different jobs, and your app probably fits some better than others.
Browse a Country's Suggestions
Choose the country you want to research, then browse the starting terms or filter them with search. Expand a term to see its suggestions.
Look beyond the exact name of your app's category. Try words for the problem it solves, an activity people do, or the outcome they're looking for. A meal-planning app might poke around shopping and recipes as well as meals.
Suggestions vary between countries, so repeat the research for your main markets instead of assuming one list works everywhere.
Use Popularity as Context
Server-backed keyword data adds popularity scores where available. Local-only mode, or browsing before you've selected a keyword data mode, can show the suggestions without those scores.
A missing score doesn't mean nobody searches for the phrase. And a high score doesn't mean your app is relevant to it. Read the phrase and ask yourself what someone choosing it would expect to find.
Move From Browsing to Research
Use a suggestion's actions menu to add it to Keyword Tracker or explore related terms in Keyword Explorer. Tracking helps you watch your position; Explorer helps you build a keyword draft.
A useful session might end with a handful of relevant phrases to follow up on. You don't need to dump the entire suggestions list into your metadata, and using a suggested phrase doesn't guarantee a ranking.
