Press Kit Creator
Assemble the assets and facts journalists and creators need.
Make Your App Easy to Cover
Press Kit Creator packages the facts, images, links, and background someone needs to write about your app. A good kit saves a journalist or creator from hunting around for an icon, guessing the price, or emailing you for a usable screenshot.
Start with the information in Basic Information, then add the details someone outside your project would need.
Choose the Contents
Select the app information and assets you want to include, such as the icon, description, launch date, and store link. Choose useful icon sizes and add extra images that show the app clearly.
Check the pricing text. Kickstart can use connected app information where available, or you can write a clearer explanation yourself. If the app has a free download and paid features, spell out what people get at each stage.
QR code options let you include a store link in a choice of size and style. You can also add links to existing coverage when they provide useful background.
Introduce the Developer
Add the company name, developer bio, and press contact details. You can generate a starting bio, then tweak it to sound like you. The About the Developer field supports Markdown for links, emphasis, and readable paragraphs.
Include any practical notes about access or review codes. Someone should be able to work out how to try the app and who to contact with a question.
Prepare the Press Release
The PDF press release has its own editor and preview. Write it in Markdown or generate a draft, then check the opening carefully: what's the news, and why would the reader care?
You don't need to tell the whole history of the project. Explain the launch or update, add the details that support the story, and make the next step clear.
Export and Share
Use Export as Zip to gather the selected material. Open the resulting archive before sending it anywhere and check the files as though you're seeing the app for the first time.
The Website Editor can also use this content in a Press Kit section, either as a page or a download. Once the kit is ready, Email Pitch can help you put together a focused introduction.
