Glossary Sales reports (App Store)

What are App Store sales reports?

Sales reports are the daily files Apple generates recording your App Store transactions: downloads, purchases, subscription starts, renewals, and cancellations, with territory, device, and product detail. They're fetched through the App Store Connect API and come in several flavors: daily sales summaries, subscription snapshots, and subscription event logs.

They are the raw truth of your app business, providing actual transactions rather than dashboard estimates. They are also raw in the sense that they are dense CSV files in a dozen currencies – turning them into readable charts is exactly the job a revenue tracker exists to do.

Kickstart fetches Apple's sales, subscription, and event reports and turns dense multi-currency files into revenue charts, trends, and diagnostics.
