Glossary Editorial nomination

What is an App Store editorial nomination?

An editorial nomination is a pitch you submit to Apple's App Store editorial team, telling them about an upcoming app launch, significant enhancements, or new content – with the timing, markets, and story they'd need to consider featuring you.

Featuring can't be bought, but it can be asked for, and most developers never bother to ask. A good nomination is specific about what's new and honest about why it's interesting, submitted well ahead of the moment so editorial planning can include you. Make sure you also include the version number it belongs to, so Apple's editors aren't left guessing!

Kickstart turns rough launch or update notes into a focused editorial nomination, keeps the dates and markets organized, and saves strong drafts for reuse.
